MacBook Repair Questions
My MacBook trackpad is not clicking properly.
That is very often a swollen battery pressing up against the trackpad from underneath, rather than a trackpad fault. It is worth getting looked at promptly, because a swelling battery can crack the case if it is left.
I spilled liquid on my MacBook. What should I do?
Shut it down immediately, do not charge it, and bring it in as soon as you can. Corrosion keeps spreading while the board is wet, so the same spill gets more expensive to fix every day it is left.
Can you upgrade the RAM in my MacBook?
On most models from recent years the RAM is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded. We will confirm what is possible for your exact model. Storage upgrades are often still an option.
